SOUTH AFRICA FOOTBALL WORLD CUP 2010
You will be able to follow your football team around the country and take in safaris, adventure activities, play golf or have some beach time between the match days.
The details and number of available tickets and custom World Cup Football packages are being finalised with tour organisers. We will update this page as soon as we know more information from the tour organisers in South Africa.
South Africa have already qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2010 already as hosts of the event. But other teams have now joined them: England, Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, South Korea, North Korea, Japan, Australia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Honduras, Mexico and USA.
England qualified thanks to a 5-1 win over Croatia.
This has given them an excellent head start in preparing their base for the tournament.
After looking at sites in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Polokwane, attention has focused on the Royal Bafokeng Sports Campus in Rustenburg, North of Johannesburg. The town is part of the Royal Bafokeng Nation, which is ruled by King Kgosi Leruo Molotlegi, the leader of Africa's richest tribe.
Close to here you can visit Sun City and visit the Pilanesberg game reserve with some outstanding golf courses close by. Which means a visit to the world Cup in South Africa can give you much more than Football!!!
